About the Band
How it Started
BR385 Band was founded by 4 Brazilians in 2019; Rafael Ribas, Fabio Baldissera, Rodrigo Gonclaves and Anderson Gomes, playing local subdivisions and parties for friends and family in Upstate, SC. "BR" stands for Brazil, and "385" is the Highway we all live nearby. After a few months they picked up a Mississippi native (Jason Fountain) to sing English and Spanish songs, followed by a local South Carolinian (Adam Watson) for saxophone. Ribas left the band in 2023 and was replaced by Richie Hutchinson out of Monterrey, Mexico. The band has since added multiple hits in Spanish to the mix. In September 2024, Marconi Abreu joined as a vocalist/percussionist. BR385 is a high energy, multilingual group playing your favorite American, Brazilian and Spanish music!
